About Us!
Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria was THE place to be in the small town of Hurricane. Offering entertainment through its animatronic characters and radical arcade, as well as good food with its wide selection of pizzas and treats, it'd become a staple in the region, with most, if not all of the resident children hanging out in its colorful halls and sparkly ceilings. There wasn't a soul in Hurricane who didn't know Freddy's. In 1986, however, a grisly incident occured within its walls that changed the fate of the pizzeria for the worse. During late hours of operation, on June 26th, five children went missing at Freddy's after following a costumed performer into the back room, causing public outcry and tarnishing the public perception of the brand forever. Their bodies were never found, and though a suspect was charged, the truth behind their disappearances was never unveiled. One year later, on November of 1987, five more victims were reported to have gone missing at the newly-refurbished Freddy's establishment. A new investigation was conducted, resulting in the closure of Freddy's mere weeks after its grand opening and the complete rejection of the restaurant by the residents of Hurricane. A final, lower-budget location was opened in the early 90s, but neither kids or parents wished to attend it, rightfully afraid of its reputation, causing it to silently wither away and shut down for the final time in late 1993. Children: Rekindled tells the story of the victims of Freddy's and what happened to them after their lives were cut short, showcasing their struggles, their suffering, the brief moments of respite and the bonds they form with one another. It is an interpretation of the Five Nights at Freddy's story as we knew it around late 2015 and a love letter to the series in general, taking elements from both canon and fanon. This comic is not affiliated with Scott Cawthon. FNaF and all the story elements from the games presented here belong to him.
